When it happens to mild mannered accountant, Henry Perkins, he decides he'll immediately fly First Class to Barcelona to start a new life….or maybe to Bali – hell; with the money he’s found they can now afford to buy Bali! His wife Jean, however, insists on staying home as planned to celebrate Henry's birthday with their dear friends, Vic and Betty. But before long, not one, but two Police Inspectors turn up which throw their plans into total chaos…leaving Jean with no other alternative but to hit the bottle as Henry makes things worse with his attempts to extricate himself from the situation. A dead body floating in the Thames, imaginary relatives in Australia, a mysterious caller and the appearance of an identical briefcase containing nothing more than a cheese and chutney sandwich only serve to make things more complicated.
